Yo Gobo

Melbourne City

As part of the Light in Winter Festival 2013 held in Federation square, Electrolight presented "Yo Gobo...a light stencil exhibition". A gobo is a metal disk with holes cut into it, through which light passes to create a desired shape or pattern. In effect, it enables stencil art to be created with light.
My gobo was one of the 20 gobos selected from numerous entries from around the world to be exhibited for 4 nights during the winter solstice celebrations.
